東日本大震災とウクライナ軍事侵攻の犠牲者を追悼し世界平和を願いました

3月11日、午後2時４６分。国際コースの１年生３６人が中庭で円陣を組んでロウソクに火をともして犠牲者を悼み黙とうを捧げました。
国際コースはマレーシア、ネパール、バングラデシュ、フィリピンなどアジア諸国やナイジェリアからも留学生を受け入れ、日頃から多文化に接することで、異文化理解や共生の重要性を学んでいます。そんな中、クラスの吉澤君、宮山君、岡田君の３人が発起人となり、ロシアによるウクライナへの軍事侵攻による犠牲者を追悼することになりました。ジョン＝レノンのイマジンを聴きながら日本を中心にウクライナ、ロシア、そして留学生の国の国旗を周りに並べて世界平和を願って黙とうを捧げました。３人は「普通の生活が送れることや平和のありがたさを再認識し、過去の震災や戦争について考える機会にしたい」と話していました。
